Our deal teams often include leading external counsel, typically our former partners. They provide additional bench strength and specialist advice; for example, tax, insolvency, property, US securities law and US derivatives law and practice. We occasionally use senior associates with relevant experience.
We prefer not to use junior lawyers or trainees. First, we are not in business to train up lawyers. Second, our business model does not rely on leverage. Finally, we would rather not spend time supervising juniors.
As a result, our clients receive sustained partner-level focus.
